What MT checks
MT detects the NVIDIA GPU model and Windows driver version, converts the version to NVIDIA numbering and queries the professional catalogue. Candidates must match the exact model, desktop or notebook form factor and Windows 11 x64, in the WHQL Enterprise Production branch. NVIDIA App and additional installed utilities are not required.
Running the check
Start MaintenanceToolkit.exe with administrative privileges and select NVIDIA driver check. To run only this module without interaction:MaintenanceToolkit.exe -Only NVIDIA
Reading the result
- update_available / WARN: GPU model, installed and available versions, and official NVIDIA details link.
- No newer candidate: no newer update verified in the selected branch; this does not certify every NVIDIA branch.
- verification_incomplete / WARN: unavailable catalogue, ambiguous model or unverified compatibility. This does not mean up to date.
- Multiple GPUs: each device retains its result; incomplete checks remain visible.
No driver changes
The check does not download packages, install drivers or restart the computer. Updates require a separate administrator decision. A newer installed driver is not downgraded. AMD, Intel, other vendors and the GeForce catalogue are outside this professional check.
Evidence and inventory
Read riepilogo.txt and riepilogo.html in the session directory. Catalogue replies and per-GPU outcomes are retained for analysis; Inventory snapshots preserve advisories under gpuDrivers. Tests included Quadro P620, T1000 and RTX A1000; other models need representative validation. For CAD applications with specific requirements, also check applicable ISV certifications before selecting a driver.
Maintenance Toolkit 4.1
The Languages menu (H) selects Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Simplified Chinese or Japanese. The five new translations cover menus and 4.1 workflows; some historical diagnostics use English fallback. Documentation and the website are available in Italian and English.

4.1.2: verified installation detection fix
Malformed uninstall paths belonging to unrelated programs no longer block MT installation detection on Windows PowerShell 5.1. Invalid MT registrations remain blocked. Affected 4.1.1 installations need a verified manual MSI/ZIP upgrade. The final signed packages passed fresh MSI installation and manual MSI/ZIP upgrades from 4.0.6 and 4.1.1 on Windows 11 / PowerShell 5.1, installed SelfTest, data/task preservation, signed-script tamper rejection and locked-file ZIP recovery. No maintenance or automatic restart was executed. Windows 10, real GPO/corporate SMB and live selective Winget are not certified by these tests. GPO remains responsible for managed installations. Seven UI languages are available, with partial translation coverage and English fallback; documentation remains Italian/English. Earlier public packages remain unchanged.
